Issue of Duplicate Share Certificate

Reissue physical share certificates that have been lost, stolen, mutilated, or destroyed.

Lost certificates need to be replaced with duplicates before the shares can be dematerialised, transferred, or transmitted to legal heirs. The process involves an FIR / police complaint, an affidavit on stamp paper, an indemnity bond, a public notice in at least one English and one regional newspaper, and a 30-day waiting window.

We draft and file each step, place the public notices, and follow the matter through with the RTA until the duplicate certificates are issued and lodged with the depository for dematerialisation.
